The audio-based Freedom of Information Act Training course is CPD accredited. As well as providing an overview of the UK legislation, this course explains the importance of the legislation and the responsibilities of the user.
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, public authorities must adhere to the act when responding to information requests. Training on the Freedom of Information Act is designed for public sector workers who handle such requests. In addition to providing information on the Act, it also discusses responsibilities of organisations and employees under the Act, how complaints are handled, and a number of other important topics.
